Title: Re: ALUMINUM PULLEYS Post by: GRUBDIGGER on December 18, 2013, 01:25:01 pm IT LOOKS LIKE YOU CAN ONLY GET 1/2-1 SEASON OUT OF THEM. COST TOOOOOO MUCH TO REPLACE THEM ALL THE TIME. >:(
Title: Re: ALUMINUM PULLEYS Post by: GRUBDIGGER on December 18, 2013, 01:26:12 pm HOW ARE THE STEEL ENGINE AND TRANS PULLEYS HOLDING UP?
Title: Re: ALUMINUM PULLEYS Post by: trbinrat on December 18, 2013, 02:00:46 pm There holding up well . For my sp I turned down a EC hub and drill holes in a tractor supply 8" pulley and bolted it to the EC hub. So now I can quickly change pulleys and don't have to buy hubs any more or have to cut them off when I want to replace the pulley.
I'm looking in too rebuilding the EC pulley's. I think I can weld them up and re-machine them. Title: Re: ALUMINUM PULLEYS Post by: GRUBDIGGER on December 19, 2013, 05:45:44 am I LIKE THAT IDEA FOR THE STEEL ONES. |
