Yea I'm thinking it probably will because I cant set it, hold it, and tighten it Shocked. It just doesnt work need two more hands but with help i will get it set. Briggs are a bit easier to set but im excited to see how this kohler does.

Well it will probably be next season. Just depends how it runs this year. I hear they are really strong running when they are built. But i will just have to see for myself how it runs. Im excited!!!!

i run a kohler cv15s wich is the same as yours. you can set the rpm with the choke/throdle plate bolts and move the spring on the govener lever to the lower hole.i got my rpms with in 50 or so.

any time.i have mine set up so all i have to do is move the plate if i am a lillte hot on rpm.its so easy,i love it!!

I have seen motors mounted forward, backwards(yep I know a few US racers doing this) and sideways.
Some guys like the extra weight over the front axle, and me, I like the weight centered towards the middle(just me sayin).
But I did hear something about the engine may not cool properly when mounted backwards?Huh?...can't remember where I heard that - don't know that it's true.

IT REALLY SHOULDNT MATTER WHAT DIRECTION ITS MOUNTED IN AS LONG AS ITS NOT UPSIDE DOWN. Grin
