This is my 2011 craftsman modxr. It's a little on the heavy side but it ran up front all year

Here's some steering pics. I make all my own parts.

The knuckle on the steering rod is a impact swivel. It worked ok for the first half of the year but need to be changed out due to slop. I end up going with a more expensive unit.

Underside

Clutch

Brakes: 10" Aluminum disk. It worked well but I had the wrong pads for Aluminum and the disk was chewed up by the end of the year.

Fitting the sheet metal.  I used a modified step thru fenders on a box chassis for this one.

All fixed now. I had another Tecumseh block that had thrown a rod so we used that one. Honed the cylinder and did a valve job an where good to go!

And here's what it looks like today. A few more things to remove and it's going to the scrap yard.

I would of like to cut and chop this one. But it was just to darn heavy. At the end of last year I had a hard time keeping up with the MTD's With all the new mowers coming into this class I don't think it would of been competitive. The Murray we are building will be a lot lighter.
