there isn't really a solid answer,its kinda what works for your set-up. i made mine like a knobby atv tire. i went from the bottom to the top of every other lug. i did it to all my tires at one time. now i just do the front,and let the rears slide. have a good time with it,see what works,and its fun to watch others looking at your tires to see if its legal.sorry grubby.

GROVING IS 100% LEGAL AS LONG AS THE TIRES ARE LAWN MOWER TIRES. CARLISLE, CHEN SHIN ECT. NOT A PROBLEM.
