I have an engine it is a Tech OHV but I know nothing about it. I think it is a 12.5 or 13hp. Im just wondering if its good for racing or not. From what I've read it would be a 13hp by the way it looks, but the numbers to me say its a 12.5hp the fill tube(dipstick) and the oil drain plug are on the same side close to each other and they are on the same side of the spark plug, so by what I've read it would be a 13hp. The numbers on it are OHV125-203025a-3113d any help would be great.Thank your for the information and help!!!

I dont have a picture yet John it is still on the mower i got. It is on an older snapper but the engine is a newer one the guy that had the mower replaced the engine but he could not remember when he replaced it. I will get a picture just as soon as i can on here. Im just wondering if it would be any good for racing in the modx-r class. I have heard that the techs dont do as well at the lower RPMS I dont know if there is any truth to that or not. Thanks for your time.

I have a Kohler also that I'm working on I think the Kohler will go on the racer I was just wondering about this Tech for my sons racer that we are going to be starting in the near future. And i had a first noticed that there is a little weight difference in the two so I was at first throwing the idea around of which one I was going to use for myself. But after reading and more reading I will put the Kohler on my racer. Thank you again for all the help.
