We run a 12" from the ground seat rule at our local track. Its very safe. All year long we only had 2 flips and they were super sportsman. Everything else was just spins.

DOES THE SEAT PAN GO BELOW THE TOPS OF THE TIRES?

Round tubing, chrome molly and aluminum are not permitted This is listed under Pro-x.
I think chrome molly needs to be removed from this statement. I understand why it's there. ( there are problems welding it if you don't know how) but this only punishes the fabricators who do no how. It is a far superior material when used properly.

Mark

YOU CANT USE ALUMINUM AS A FRONT AXLE AND YOU CANT USE CHROME MOLLEY AS FRAME REPLACEMENT IN PRO-X. BUT YOU CAN USE MOLLEY TUBING FOR THE FRONT AXLE. IVE USED IT FOR YEARS.

That where it is just for our local track and have extra fenders at nationals. The seat pan sits above the tires with 13s on 8.25 rims, but is a little lower that the tires. With our local track it is just like you having a mtd tunnel chassis with 16s tires on 8x8 rims and sit the seat straight on the chassis.
