Just a Reminder & Calling for GREAT weather!

Don’t put away your racers just yet! - BIG Lawn Mower Race Nov 10

Saturday Nov 10th2012, our 1st annual Family Food-Fundraiser - Fun Race Day at Chesapeake City Fire Dept MD.

This is Joint effort with American Racing Mower Association (ARMA), Mason Dixon LMRA local chapter (USLMRA) and Chesapeake City MD Fire Dept. This is what Lawn Mower Racers do.…and do BEST…..giving back to the community. This event will provide incredible, entertaining spectator races from some of the Middle Atlantic’s most competitive, fastest drivers that are both Male, Female and Children. Entire Family Racing teams shall be racing too.

We are having a Thanksgiving/Christmas Family Food Fundraiser Race for less fortunate families in the Chesapeake City MD Region. We ask you bring canned goods/non perishable foods, toys or a $5.00 minimum donation. Chesapeake City Fire dept will distribute the goods to local needy families with local media.

Track – Directly behind Chesapeake City Fire Dept – 2859 Augustine Herman Hwy, Chesapeake City MD 21915. You can see the track at Google Earth 39deg 30'27.56"N 75deg 50'00.21"W. A 595ft, Wide, Flat Oval, Hard Pack, Track that has been a local favorite to both spectators and racers for many years. It’s just up the street from the Legendary World Punkin’ Chuck’n Event in Bridgeville DE. This will be a “Fun” Race with no points. All perspective ARMA & USLMRA class shall be run. Insurance has been covered.

10am Racer Tech Inspections shall begin. Heat Races are 1pm Sharp, a quick break and then on to the feature races. If we stay on schedule, we may throw in a Black Flag race at the end of the day.

Some of ARMA National & Mason Dixon Board of directors will be on site.

Members of the RAACE Foundation shall be on site too - The RAACE Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to eliminating the epidemic of child sexual abuse by raising public awareness. We are extremely proud to be part of Team RAACE. http://www.raace.org/

We hope to see you there to help support our local families. Please help us put this inaugural community event on the road map with much success. Please Contact me for more info.
