Just throwing this out there. Has anyone ran 8 1/4"x 6" wheels on the front of their mower? And if so how did they handle? Just wondering. Just something I was wondering.

I have 6.5 on my mower now and my tires are just kind of a round surface on the face so I was just wondering how they would work. Thanks for the input and the answers.

I run turf savers on 7.25 and turf masters on 7.75 and have had no problems with them coming off the rims. and there flat across the tread.

If a person would run tubes in them would that eliminate the problem of them coming off the bead? I run turf savers on my mower and on the front they have a rounded look on the tread. and the side walls taper into the wheel. The turf savers on the rear of my mower are a flat face surface and the side walls taper out ward to the rim. I was wondering if having the wider wheels on front would help improve handling is all. Again thank you for all the input guys.

It should help. As long as you are just using them on the front you really shouldnt need the tubes. Only time i made the bead come on the front was when i was sideway and dug into the ground. If the wider rim does help you handling you can try turf masters, they sit flatter with more tire surface

WHAT SIZE TIRES ARE THEY? ARE THE 15X600X6 OR 13X6.50X6?

Here are 13x6.50 turf savers on 7.25 rims THAT LOOKS PRETTY GOOD FOR A TURF SAVER. ALL I HAVE EVER RUN IN THE FRONT WAS TURF MASTERS.
