yup  Went through a engine and tranny pulley the year before and switched to a steel pulley on the front and aluminum on the tranny and just wore out the tranny this year.  This is a modxr.

IM GLAD THAT IM NOT THE ONLY ONE HAVING THAT PROBLEM. IVE WENT BACK TO MOSTLY STEEL NOW.

IT LOOKS LIKE YOU CAN ONLY GET 1/2-1 SEASON OUT OF THEM. COST TOOOOOO MUCH TO REPLACE THEM ALL THE TIME. Angry

There holding up well .  For my sp I turned down a EC hub and drill holes in a tractor supply 8" pulley and bolted it to the EC hub. So now I can quickly change pulleys and don't have to buy hubs any more or have to cut them off when I want to replace the pulley.

I'm looking in too rebuilding the EC pulley's. I think I can weld them up and re-machine them.
