THE BLACK FRAME AT THE BOTTOM IS THE SAME ONE IM BUILDING. I RAN 2 5/8 TUBES AT THE BOTTOM OF THE FRAME , TRANNY PLATE IS IN AND THE FRONT AXLE. IT FLEXES IN THE MIDDLE. FROM THE FOOT REST UP TO THE ENGINE HOLE. SO I WELDED IN SOME BRACES FOM THE 5/8 TUBING TO THE TOP OF THE CHASSIS. THAT TOOK MOST OF IT OUT. I MAY HAVE TO WELD IN MORE. NOT SURE ON THAT YET.

I used 1" 16ga tubing on this one.  It was a a really good chassis. I wish I never got rid of it as it handled better than my Murray

Grubby on my sons JP its an older Murray which I believe is close to the same chassis I welded 1"x 2" tubing under the pan the whole length of the chassis. Welded in a tranny plate. I then had cut the frame under the floor boards and welded in 5/8's inch square tubing under the floor boards that follow the shape of the floor boards, and welded them to the 1"x2" tubing. I then put in gussets at the corners where the front axle meet the 1"x2" tubing and where the tubing meets the back of the frame. I use 1/4" flat plate steel. I then had to weld some more 5/8" tubing on top of the frame to support the fenders and seat pan. It took all the flex out of the frame. I have less than 1/16" of an inch flex from opposite corners of the frame. I will try and get you some pics. Or I will send them in a text to you. Hope this helps.
