That's for sure. It may not have any paint but hopefully it's ready to race. Been so busy at work though that my build time has been limited. So just about every free minute I have I'm working on it. But my goal is to have this chassis for along time. So if I don't make the dead line it will be two weeks after that cause my work wants it moving on its own power for a local parade to lead the big tractors threw with it. But it's ine step at a time.

No I didn't. It's not done yet. I have to have it done by 26th for sure. My sponser wants to put it threw a parade. So it's going I be a lot of late nites. I'm having problems figuring out what degree to weld my spindles on at though. Any help would be great.

So if I mount my barrels at 12* and weld the spindles on parallel to the ground that should work just fine then? But the mower is slowly getting closer. I'll have I get some more pictures up.

Well here's a few more pics of the progress. I'm still in a budget so I made my own form of heim joints. I've ran them in the past and they hold up real well and work great. Used thick angle and 5/8 grade 8 bolts.
All comments welcome. I have a total of 4 dollars in these.

I am grubby. I will lighten these up yet. I know they are heavier then heim joints but I'm doing this one on a budget also. Finances haven't been super great to me this year at all. I will have to shed weight im some other places. It didn't make the parade but I told my sponser that I wasn't going to rush it just for show. That it needed to be ready to race. They were ok with that so I've slowed up a bit to make sure it's built the way I want it and it's done rite and will be safe. Any more comments please. I love the feed back.

Yes I have. I've built three differnt front ends. I didn't like they way two of them turned out. It took along time to figure out how to modify the fenders so they didn't have a big slant in them and yet get the plastic piece under the dash to fit. I want to keep the classic look of the mower without it looking modified. Slow progress but good progress.
