THE FRAME IS 2 1/2" OFF THE GROUND. I'M GOING TO USE A 700 TRANNY AND A VANNY FOR THE ENGINE.

I've got some 9.25 you can have if you would like. Did you do any frame reinforcing? And why did you choose the tranny and not a right or left angle gear box and run a clutch like on a go kart? It really looks nice though. I like the extended running boards that looks really sharp.

NOTHING ON THE FRAME YET. ONCE EVERYTHING IS IN PLACE I MAY NOT HAVE TO REINFORCE IT AT ALL. I DIDNT HAVE A GEAR BOX SO I WENT WITH THE TRANNY. ILL KEEP THOSE RIMS IN MIND.

I'm glad you went with the tranny!! It keeps it more mower like!! Not so much like a go kart. Excited to see more pictures. And if you want those rims just let me know. You can have them.

WORKS GREAT BUT I RAN INTO ANOTHER PROBLEM. THE ARM ON THE SPINDLE WILL HIT THE GROUND WHEN FULL RIGHT. NO PROBLEM WHEN FULL LEFT. BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD.

John take a thick piece of flat metal cut it into a horseshoe shape heat it and kind of bend it down so that one piece sticks up and the other end is down kind of like a coil. Then weld it to the front of your spindle barrel you can vend it so that it is close to the frame. Then weld another piece of strait flat to it going to the center of your frame so that your drag link connects to it.
